Your calculator inputs stay in your browser

Holdings, amounts and settings are saved in this browser's local storage so they are there when you come back. They are never sent to Najm's server. "Clear my data" on the calculator deletes them.

CAS statements never leave your device

If you import an NSDL or CDSL statement, the PDF is opened and read inside your browser. The file and its password (your PAN) are not uploaded, and Najm keeps only the holdings you choose to add to the calculator, in your browser.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, Najm stores your email address and the time you joined. It is used only to tell you when Najm launches and is not shared with anyone. To be removed, email haneef@wurks.studio from the address you signed up with.

Counting

Najm counts, per day, how many times a result is calculated, a statement is imported and a summary is printed. These counts carry no information about you or what you entered. Page views are measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.

Where data is kept

Najm runs on Cloudflare. The waitlist is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database, which may be outside India.
